of <h1>India Revises Tariff Values for Gold and Silver: Gold at $404/10g, Silver at $547/kg, per Customs Notification 69/2017.</h1> The Government of India, through the Central Board of Excise and Customs, has issued Notification No. 69/2017-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on July 1, 2017, amending Notification No. 62/2017-Customs (N.T.) dated June 30, 2017. This amendment revises Table 2 to fix tariff values for gold and silver. Gold, under specified conditions, is valued at $404 per 10 grams, while silver is valued at $547 per kilogram. These changes are made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, and are published in the Gazette of India.
