of <h1>India Issues IGST Rules 2017, Retroactive from June 22; Aligns with Central GST Rules Under IGST Act 2017.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance and the Central Board of Excise and Customs, issued Notification No. 4/2017 on June 28, 2017, establishing the Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) Rules, 2017. These rules are effective retroactively from June 22, 2017. The notification specifies that the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, will apply to integrated tax in the same manner as they apply to central tax, as per the provisions of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
