of <h1>India's Ministry of Finance Enforces Notification No. 12/2017-Central Excise Effective June 22, 2017.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, and Central Board of Excise and Customs, has announced that the provisions of Notification No. 12/2017-Central Excise (N.T.), dated June 9, 2017, will come into effect on June 22, 2017. This notification is issued under the authority of the Central Excise Act, 1944, and the Finance Act, 1994, and is in accordance with the Central Excise Rules, 2002, and Service Tax Rules, 1994.
