<h1>New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies Set by CBEC Effective 2nd June 2017, Superseding Previous Notification /2017.</h1> Notification No. 52/2017 by the Central Board of Excise and Customs, dated 1st June 2017, establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees or vice versa, effective from 2nd June 2017. This notification supersedes the previous notification No. 49/2017. The exchange rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists rates for individual units of various currencies like the US Dollar, Euro, and Australian Dollar, while Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of currencies like the Japanese Yen and Kenya Shilling. These rates apply to both imported and exported goods.
