India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Indolinone Imports from China to Prevent Measure Circumvention Until November 2019.
The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has imposed an anti-dumping duty on imports of Indolinone originating from or exported by the People's Republic of China. This follows a review that found significant increases in imports of Indolinone, which is used to produce Diclofenac Sodium, a product previously subjected to anti-dumping duties. The duty aims to address the circumvention of existing measures and will be in effect until November 20, 2019. The duty is calculated in US dollars per metric tonne, with the exchange rate determined at the time of the bill of entry presentation.
