of <h1>Delhi Appoints 13 New Assistant VAT Officers Effective January 2, 2017, Under Delhi VAT Act Authority.</h1> The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has appointed several officers as Assistant Value Added Tax Officers to assist the Commissioner of Value Added Tax under the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004. The appointments were made effective from January 2, 2017, and include thirteen individuals. This action was executed under the authority of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, as per the powers conferred by the relevant sections of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act and Rules. The notification was issued by the Deputy Secretary of Finance.
