<h1>India Revises Tariff Values for Oils, Metals, and Nuts under Customs Act, 1962; Includes Gold and Silver Rates.</h1> The Government of India, through the Central Board of Excise and Customs, has amended the tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised values include crude palm oil at $784 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $801, and crude soya bean oil at $814. Brass scrap is set at $3246 per metric tonne, poppy seeds at $2648, and areca nuts at $2594. Gold is valued at $409 per 10 grams and silver at $597 per kilogram. This amendment updates the previous notification from August 2001 and was last amended in February 2017.
