This decision follows a proposal by a corporation to de-notify part of the SEZ, which was initially notified in 2008 and 2016. The proposal received approvals from the State Government of Gujarat and the Development Commissioner of Kandla SEZ. The de-notified areas are specified by survey numbers in the notification.
