<h1>India Revises Customs Notification: Changes to Appendix I, Serial No. 14, Effective January 27, 2017.</h1> The Government of India, under the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 02/2017-Customs to amend Notification No. 96/2008-Customs dated 13th August 2008. This amendment, effective from 27th January 2017, involves changes in APPENDIX - I, specifically replacing serial number 14 and its related entries with new details. The amendment is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, in the public interest. The principal notification was previously amended by Notification No. 67/2016-Customs on 31st December 2016.
