of <h1>Finance Act Amendment Extends Deadline from December 31, 2016, to January 31, 2017, per Section 202 Notification.</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of section 202 of the Finance Act, 2016, has issued an amendment to the previous notification S.O. 1902(E) dated May 26, 2016. This amendment changes the deadline mentioned in the original notification from December 31, 2016, to January 31, 2017. The amendment was formalized through Notification No. 124/2016 by the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue on December 29, 2016.
