of <h1>Home Loan Account Scheme by National Housing Bank specified under Section 88(2)(xiv) of Income-tax Act for 1991-92 onwards.</h1> The Central Government has specified the Home Loan Account Scheme of the National Housing Bank, established under section 3 of the National Housing Bank Act, 1987, under clause (xiv) of sub-section (2) of section 88 of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This specification is for the purposes of the mentioned clause for the assessment year 1991-92 and subsequent years. The notification was issued on January 31, 1991, by the Under Secretary to the Government of India, and is identified by Notification No. S.O.57(E).
