of <h1>LIC Mutual Fund's Dhanaraksha 1989 is now a unit-linked insurance plan under Section 88(2)(xiii) of the Income-tax Act.</h1> The Central Government designates the Dhanaraksha, 1989 plan of the LIC Mutual Fund as a unit-linked insurance plan under clause (xiii) of sub-section (2) of section 88 of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This specification applies for the assessment year 1991-92 and subsequent years. The notification, identified as S.O.56(E), was issued on January 31, 1991, by the Under Secretary to the Government of India.
