<h1>Govt Sets Feb 15, 2013, as Start Date for Prevention of Money-Laundering (Amendment) Act, 2012 via S.O. 343 (E) Notification.</h1> The Central Government, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued a notification under S.O. 343 (E) dated February 8, 2013. Exercising the powers granted by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Prevention of Money-Laundering (Amendment) Act, 2012, the government designates February 15, 2013, as the effective date for the enforcement of the provisions of this Act.
