of <h1>Govt Amendments to Money-laundering Act: Section 12 Reference Updated to Include Section 12A in 2013 Notification.</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of Section 49(1) of the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002, has issued amendments to a previous notification from July 1, 2005. The amendments involve replacing the reference to 'clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 12 and its proviso' with 'clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 12, Section 12A.' This change is formalized under Notification No. 13/2013, dated August 29, 2013, by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
