II (DASS) Officers as VAT Inspectors Under Delhi VAT Act, 2004.</h1> The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, through its Finance (Revenue-I) Department, has appointed a group of Gr. II (DASS) officers to serve as Value Added Tax Inspectors. This appointment is made under the authority of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004, as per the powers conferred by the relevant section and rule. The officers are appointed to assist the Commissioner of Value Added Tax in the administration of the Act, effective from the date they assume their roles. The notification is issued by the Deputy Secretary in the name of the Lt. Governor of Delhi.
