This appointment, effective from their respective dates of joining, is authorized under the powers conferred by the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004, and its rules. The notification lists 51 individuals appointed as AVATOs, with joining dates ranging from April to July 2016. The appointments are made by the order of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and are executed by the Deputy Secretary of Finance.
