of <h1>India Expands Customs Stations to Include Kalinganagar and Tumb Village for Export Promotion Schemes under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Government of India has amended several customs notifications to include Kalinganagar and Tumb Village (Taluka Umbergaon, District Valsad) as customs stations for export and import under Export Promotion (EP) schemes. The amendments apply to notifications issued from 2009 to 2015, which previously listed only Hosur (Tamil Nadu) and Nattakkam Village (Kottayam Taluk and District) as designated stations. The changes are intended to facilitate trade and are made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
