The amendments apply to notifications issued from 2009 to 2015, which previously listed only Hosur (Tamil Nadu) and Nattakkam Village (Kottayam Taluk and District) as designated stations. The changes are intended to facilitate trade and are made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
