<h1>Rebate Scheme 2016 Offers Additional State Levy Rebates for Garment Exports, Using Customs EDI for Digital Payments.</h1> The Scheme of Rebate of State Levies on Export of Garments 2016 aims to provide remission of state levies in addition to the Duty Drawback Scheme. The scheme will disburse rebates from the Ministry of Textiles' budget using the Customs EDI system, ensuring payments are routed digitally to exporters' bank accounts. Manual shipments will be processed through PAO, CBEC. To implement the scheme, current Drawback DDOs at Customs locations will be designated for this scheme, with their codes mapped to respective locations. Details of Drawback DDOs must be submitted for code mapping by September 2, 2016.
