of <h1>Postal Life Insurance Bonds Set at 7.78% Interest for FY 2016-17; Payments Semi-Annually.</h1> The Government of India has announced that the Postal Life Insurance Special Floating Rate Bonds, 2022, will have an interest rate of 7.78% per annum for the financial year 2016-17. This rate is based on the daily average yield of 10-year Government Securities from January 1 to December 31, 2015. Interest payments will be made semi-annually on September 30 and March 30. This notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs, Budget Division, and authorized by the Joint Secretary.
