of <h1>Hindu Mission Hospital's Corpus Fund Deduction Limit Raised to Rs. 100 Lakhs u/s 35AC of Income-tax Act.</h1> The Central Government, following recommendations from the National Committee, has amended a previous notification concerning Hindu Mission Hospital, Chennai, under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. The amendment increases the maximum allowable deduction for the hospital's corpus fund from Rs. 30.00 lakhs to Rs. 100.00 lakhs. This change is effective for a further period of three years, starting with the assessment year 2001-2002.
