of <h1>Government Amends Income-tax Notification to Update Name from 'Rayalaseem Seva Samithi' to 'Rashtriya Seva Samithi.</h1> The Central Government, based on recommendations from the National Committee, has amended Notification No. S.O. 388(E) dated May 19, 1997, under the Income-tax Act, 1961. Specifically, in the notification, the name 'Rayalaseem Seva Samithi (RASS)' is replaced with 'Rashtriya Seva Samithi' in column 2, against Serial No. 22. This amendment is issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, under Notification No. 10705, dated September 18, 1998, and is executed by Deputy Secretary V. K. Sehgal.
