of <h1>India Revises Duty-Free Limits: Cigarettes 100 Sticks, Cigars 25, Tobacco 125g Per Notification No. 31/2016 Customs.</h1> The corrigendum to Notification No. 31/2016 Customs (N.T) dated 1st March 2016, issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Excise and Customs, amends the quantities listed in the original notification. The revised quantities are 'Cigarettes up to 100 sticks, Cigars up to 25, or Tobacco up to 125 grams,' replacing the previous limits of 'Cigarettes: 200 numbers, Cigar up to 50, or Tobacco 250 grams.' This change is officially documented in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary.
