of <h1>India Waives Excise Duty on Di-Calcium Phosphate Animal Feed (2008-2014) u/s 11C of Central Excise Act.</h1> The Government of India, through Notification No. 04/2016-CX (N.T) dated February 12, 2016, announced that the excise duty on Di-Calcium Phosphate (animal feed grade) of rock phosphate origin, classified under heading 2835, will not be required to be paid for the period from February 1, 2008, to February 1, 2014. This decision was made under Section 11C of the Central Excise Act, 1944, due to a previously prevalent practice where the duty was not levied on these goods.
