<h1>Central Board of Revenue Designates New Coasting Trade Ports in Bombay State, Superseding 1950 Notification.</h1> In accordance with the powers granted by section 12 of the Sea Customs Act, 1878, the central Board of Revenue has designated specific locations within the Bombay State as ports for coasting trade with customs ports. This supersedes a previous notification from September 9, 1950. The designated ports, under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Central Excise, Baroda, include Gogha and Dholea in Ahmedabad, Cambay in Kaira, multiple ports in Broach and Surat, Mul-Dwarka and Dwarka in Amreli, and Koteshwar in Kutch, among others. These ports are exclusively for coasting trade purposes.
