of <h1>New Adjudicating Authority Appointed for Customs Cases in Delhi and Ludhiana by CBEC</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs, under the Ministry of Finance, has appointed the Additional Director General (Adjudication) of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence in New Delhi as the Common Adjudicating Authority. This authority is empowered to exercise the duties of the Principal Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Tughlakabad, the Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of Customs at Patparganj, and the Additional/Joint Commissioner of Customs in Ludhiana. This appointment is for adjudicating matters related to a show cause notice issued to a company and others, as detailed in a notice dated April 17, 2015.
