of <h1>India Amends Tariff Concessions for Malaysian Imports Under IMCECA Effective January 2016.</h1> The Government of India has issued an amendment to Notification No. 53/2011-Customs, dated July 1, 2011, to provide deeper tariff concessions on specified goods imported from Malaysia under the India-Malaysia Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (IMCECA), effective from January 1, 2016. This amendment, detailed in Notification No. 59/2015-Customs, dated December 30, 2015, includes a revised table of goods with their respective tariff rates, ranging from 0% to 65%. The changes are made in the public interest under the powers conferred by the Customs Act, 1962.
