of <h1>Customs Commissioner Extends HAL's Container Freight Station Custodianship for 5 Years Under Section 45 of Customs Act</h1> The Commissioner of Customs, Bengaluru, has extended the custodianship of the Container Freight Station to Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL) for an additional five years, until October 31, 2019. This renewal, under Section 45 of the Customs Act, 1962, modifies a previous notification from October 31, 2012. HAL is authorized to manage the unloading of imported cargo and the loading of export cargo at the specified premises, subject to the conditions of the Customs Act, until the cargo is cleared for home consumption, exported, warehoused, or transshipped.
