This declaration, effective from February 18, 2015, facilitates the establishment of a 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU) as approved by the Development Commissioner of Kandla Special Economic Zone. The notification was issued by the Commissioner of Central Excise, Customs, and Service Tax, Daman, under the authority granted by the Customs Act and a prior government notification from July 1994.
