of <h1>Central Government Revokes Aluminium SEZ in Madhya Pradesh's Bargawan Village; Actions Before Rescission Remain Valid.</h1> The Central Government has rescinded the notification for a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Aluminium in Village Bargawan, District Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, initially proposed by a company under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. This SEZ, notified in 2012, covered an area of 111.89 hectares. The company proposed de-notification, which was supported by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh and recommended by the Development Commissioner of the Indore SEZ. Consequently, the Central Government has officially withdrawn the SEZ status, maintaining the validity of actions taken prior to this rescission.
