Customs amendment removes an Explanation from an exemption entry, modifying the scope of that tariff notification. The Central Government, invoking sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 and acting in public interest, amends Notification No.39/96-Customs by omitting the Explanation against S.No.13 in column (3) of the TABLE by Notification No.56/2015-Customs dated 11th December 2015.
