of <h1>Delhi Appoints Officers as VAT Officers cum Assistant Commissioners to Support Tax Administration Under Delhi VAT Act, 2004</h1> The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has appointed several officers as Value Added Tax Officers (VATO) cum Assistant Commissioners to assist the Commissioner of Value Added Tax in administering the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004. The appointments, effective upon the officers' assumption of charge, include nine individuals who joined between September and December 2013. The notification was issued by the Deputy Secretary of Finance under the authority of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.
