Exchange rate notification sets import and export currency conversion rates under Customs Act, effective from mid-October. Determines the rate of exchange for conversion of specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees under section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962, effective 16th October, 2015; prescribes separate rupee equivalents for imported goods and for export goods in two annexed schedules and supersedes the prior notification.
