of <h1>Central Government De-notifies 10.7657 Hectares of Biotech SEZ in Pune, Maharashtra per SEZ Act 2005 Notification.</h1> The Central Government has de-notified 10.7657 hectares of a previously established Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for the biotech and pharmaceuticals sector in Hadapsar/Manjri, Pune, Maharashtra, initially proposed by a private organization. The area was originally notified under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The de-notification was approved following a 'No Objection' from the Maharashtra State Government and a recommendation from the Development Commissioner of the SEEPZ SEZ. The remaining SEZ area is now 12.4136 hectares. This change is documented in a notification dated 11th September 2015.
