of <h1>Delhi Appoints New VAT Officer to Assist Commissioner Under Delhi VAT Act 2004 and Rules 2005</h1> The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, through the Finance (Revenue-I) Department, has appointed an officer to the position of Value Added Tax Officer cum Assistant Commissioner, VAT. This appointment is made under the authority of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004, and the Delhi Value Added Tax Rules, 2005. The officer is tasked with assisting the Commissioner of Value Added Tax in administering the Act. The appointment is effective from the date the officer assumes charge, as authorized by the Lt. Governor of Delhi.
