of <h1>Delhi Appoints Three Officers as Assistant VAT Officers Under Section 66 of VAT Act 2004 and Rule 47</h1> The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, through a notification dated April 9, 2015, has appointed three officers as Assistant Value Added Tax Officers to assist the Commissioner of Value Added Tax. This appointment is made under the authority of section 66 of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004, and rule 47 of the Delhi Value Added Tax Rules, 2005. The officers, who assumed their roles on various dates in early 2015, are tasked with supporting the administration of the Act. The notification is issued by the Deputy Secretary-VI (Finance) on behalf of the Lt. Governor of Delhi.
