of <h1>Central Government Updates Newsprint Control Order Schedule: Amrit Paper Renamed to ABC Paper Limited, Effective January 6, 2009.</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of Section 18G of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951, has amended the Newsprint Control Order, 2004. The amendment, effective from January 6, 2009, changes the name and location details in the Schedule of the order. Specifically, the entry for serial number 14 is updated from 'M/s. Amrit Paper, Hoshiarpur, Punjab' to 'M/s. ABC Paper Limited, Saila Khurd, Hoshiarpur, Punjab.' This amendment follows previous modifications to the principal order, originally published on October 11, 2004, and later amended on August 14, 2008.
