of <h1>Newsprint Control Order Amended: Sree Godavari Kraft Papers Added as Indigenous Manufacturer in 2009 Update</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951, issued an amendment to the Newsprint Control Order, 2004. This amendment, titled the Newsprint Control (Amendment) Order, 2009, was enacted on August 20, 2009. It adds a new entry to the list of indigenous newsprint manufacturers in the Schedule of the original order. Specifically, it includes M/s. Sree Godavari Kraft Papers Limited, located in Eragavaram Mandal, West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, as entry number 99. The principal order was initially published in 2004 and amended in May 2009.
