of <h1>Gigaplex Estate's IT SEZ in Maharashtra expands by 1.17 hectares to total 12.91 hectares under SEZ Act 2005.</h1> M/s Gigaplex Estate Private Limited proposed to establish a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and IT Enabled Services at Plot No. IT-5, Airoli Knowledge Park-TTC Industrial Area, Villages Airoli and Dighe, Thane District, Maharashtra. Initially notified in 2013, the SEZ covered 11.74 hectares. The Central Government has now approved the inclusion of an additional 1.17 hectares, expanding the SEZ to a total of 12.91 hectares. This notification is issued under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
