of <h1>India Rescinds 2012 Service Tax Notification; New Rules Under Section 93(1) of Finance Act Implemented</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 03/2015-Service Tax, dated 1st March 2015. This notification rescinds the previous Notification No. 42/2012-Service Tax, dated 29th June 2012, under the authority of section 93(1) of the Finance Act, 1994. The rescission is deemed necessary in the public interest, but it does not affect actions taken or omitted under the earlier notification before this rescission.
