of <h1>India Sets New Exchange Rates for Imports and Exports Effective January 16, 2015, via Notification No. 09/2015-CUSTOMS</h1> The Government of India's Ministry of Finance, through the Central Board of Excise and Customs, issued Notification No. 09/2015-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on January 15, 2015. This notification sets the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for imported and exported goods, effective January 16, 2015. The rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists individual foreign currencies, and Schedule II lists rates for 100 units of foreign currencies. The notification supersedes a previous notification dated January 1, 2015, and includes subsequent amendments for various currencies.
