of <h1>Joint Commissioner Appointed as Common Adjudicating Authority for Mumbai Customs Cases Under Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has appointed the Joint or Additional Commissioner of Customs at the Principal Commissioner of Customs (General) office in Mumbai Zone-I as the Common Adjudicating Authority. This authority will handle adjudication related to show cause notices for three entities: a creation company in Navi Mumbai, a creation LLP in Navi Mumbai, and a trading company in Mumbai. These notices were issued by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Mumbai Zonal Unit, on October 27, 2014. The appointment is made under the Customs Act, 1962, to streamline the adjudication process across these cases.
