of <h1>India Amends Customs Notification, Removes Clause (bd) Under Section 25(1) for Public Interest</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 03/2015-Customs to amend Notification No. 12/2012-Customs dated March 17, 2012. This amendment involves the omission of clause (bd) and its related entries from the proviso following the Table in the original notification. This action is taken under the authority of section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, as it is deemed necessary in the public interest. The principal notification was last amended on December 31, 2014, as per Notification No. 39/2014-Customs.
