of <h1>Kolkata Commissioner of Customs Appointed as Adjudicating Authority for Show Cause Notices Against Kalpena Industries</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has appointed the Commissioner of Customs (Port) in Kolkata as the Common Adjudicating Authority for the adjudication of a Show Cause Notice and a supplementary notice issued by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Kolkata Zonal Unit, against M/s Kalpena Industries Ltd. and others. This decision, dated August 11, 2014, is in accordance with Notification No.15/2002-Customs (N.T.) under the Customs Act, 1962. The notices are related to proceedings initiated by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence.
