of <h1>India Honors Customs & Excise, Narcotics, and Enforcement Officials for Exceptional Service in 2010 Notification No. 8/2010</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 8/2010 recognizing officials from the Customs & Central Excise Department, Central Bureau of Narcotics, and the Enforcement Directorate for their exceptional service. Awards were granted for exceptionally meritorious service at risk of life and specially distinguished records of service. The awards, announced on Republic Day 2010, honor various officials across different ranks, including Commissioners, Additional Directors, Deputy Directors, Superintendents, Intelligence Officers, and others, as per the scheme detailed in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, amended over time.
