of <h1>India Extends Central Excise Notification Deadline to December 31, 2014, Under Section 5A of Excise Act</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 06/2014-Central Excise to amend Notification No. 12/2012-Central Excise dated March 17, 2012. This amendment extends the date mentioned in the second proviso of the original notification from June 30, 2014, to December 31, 2014. This change is made under the authority granted by section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944, and is deemed necessary in the public interest.
