of <h1>Central Government Updates Madras Special Economic Zone Authority; New Representatives Appointed from Mercury Manufacturing and Vijay Garments.</h1> The Central Government has amended the notification S.O.573(E) dated 27th February 2009, concerning the Madras Special Economic Zone Authority, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The amendment involves substituting the entries at serial numbers 5 and 6 with new representatives: the Managing Director of Mercury Manufacturing Co. Ltd. and the Chief Executive of Vijay Garments Ltd. This change is issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, as per the powers granted under the relevant sections of the Act.
