Rescission of SEZ notification: central government cancels sector specific biotechnology SEZ following approved denotification request. Pursuant to the developer's approved request, the Central Government, exercising powers under the proviso to the relevant rule of the Special Economic Zone Rules, formally rescinds the earlier notification for the sector specific biotechnology SEZ, subject only to protection of acts done or omissions made prior to rescission.
