of <h1>Government Approves Multi-Product SEZ in Gujarat's Kutch District; Inland Container Depot Status Granted Under Customs Act 1962</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a multi-product Special Economic Zone (SEZ) by a private company at Village Dhrub, Taluka Mundra, District Kutch, Gujarat, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The SEZ spans 1,840 hectares, including surveyed and unsurveyed land. An Approval Committee has been constituted to oversee the SEZ, comprising government officials and the developer as a special invitee. The SEZ is designated as an Inland Container Depot effective March 28, 2012, under the Customs Act, 1962.
