of <h1>Times Research Foundation Approved for Scientific Research Under Section 35(1)(iii) of Income-tax Act, 1961</h1> The Times Research Foundation in New Delhi has been approved by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under section 35(1)(iii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for scientific research purposes. The approval is subject to conditions requiring the Foundation to maintain separate accounts for research funds, submit annual returns of research activities by May 31, and provide audited financial statements by June 30 each year to relevant authorities. The Foundation must also apply for approval renewal before expiration. This notification is valid from April 1, 1988, to March 31, 1989.
