of <h1>Central Government Forms Approval Committee for IT SEZ in Thane, Maharashtra Under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has constituted an Approval Committee for the Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services Special Economic Zone located in District Thane, Maharashtra. This committee, established under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, includes the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson, and members from various government departments, such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, the Commissioners of Customs and Income Tax, and representatives from the Ministry of Finance and the Government of Maharashtra. A representative from the developer, M/s. Zeus Infrastructure Private Limited, is a special invitee.
